Heyya yuting, where to start! probably with happy birthday I guess, haha. You are one more year wiser, I think when you are 30 you can actually officially get adult wisdom brownie points with the kids around. Other than getting old, I think what is even more beautiful about a birthday like this is for your friends like me to celebrate the beautiful person that you are. We first met in cata's corridor where you were explaining to me about the chinese writing system. At the time I thought, hey this is a lovely soul but that was that. On and off we met a few times in that corridor because of our common friends since it was one of the few places where people got together during covid. Little did I know that, years later we would be driving around two countries at the edge of Europe illegally, laughing, screaming, crying and shouting! Or for that matter that we would run a half marathon together! I think when we really clicked was on that train where you were with your firends and we looked at each other thinking, hey I know this person but not sure how to place it or whether to talk and then you stepped up saying, "i know you right". From there we shared little stories, random dinners, many reels and two heart gruelling races. I think somehwere along that journey you became a part of my life that I hold very dearly and means a great deal to me. I do not know if I said it enough but life while being beautiful can be a very challenging journey. When you walk that path, its nice to have people that pull you up, you are one such person yuting. You have no idea how much of a blessing you have been to me, I decided to become fit inspired by you, I started doing spontaneous shit inspired by you, I even found some great restaurants because of you. When I say some of these things, you always say "its not me, its you". In many ways thats you, you drive away from the spotlight, even though you are north star for many people in your life. I firmly beleive in the idea that your actions shape your destiny, but sometimes every so often, the universe does funny things. Meeting you on that train, was one such beautiful moment of serendipity that I am thankful for you beautiful soul! Miss yuting, my firend, happy birthday again!
